i’m a vegetarian. my parents became vegetarian when i was 9 years old. i’ve been eating healthy for 19 years. i’ve gained some weight over the past 2 years and i can’t seem to shed pounds like before. usually if i watch my diet and exercise, i could start seeing results in about two weeks. but now, i can’t see a difference or even feel better. i walk my dog twice a day. (atleast 2 miles a day). do i need to exericse more? i want to ‘restart’ my body by detoxing. if you have any tips on how to detox, please let me know. thank you.

Every once in a while I take a weekend to fast. It’s tough at first, and I wouldn’t exercise too much during the fast, but you get used to it quickly. Just be gentle when reintroducing foods. Start with just juice, then maybe steamed vegetables and work your way up to breads/grains.
